DESCRIPTION:It has been 200 years since the Greek Revolution is started.
 True to our commitment for the struggle our forefathers to reach freedom\,
 we show respect and appreciation to them by holding a Flag Raising Ceremony
 at Federation Square right on the date\, 25th March 2021.\n\nOur Australian
 compatriots need to understand that Greece as a modern nation has been
 around only about 200 years despite the thousands of years of history\, of
 a civilization that has given so much to the rest of the world. To name but
 a few of the offerings they are:\n\n 	Olympic Games\n 	Philosophy\n
 	Democracy\n 	Mathematics\n 	Medicine\n 	Arts and Theatrical Performance\n
 	Astronomy\n 	and so much more\n\nLike last year the 8 Greek flags that
 came on special delivery from Athens\, are to be up on the Federation
 Square masts along Swanston Street.\n\nStudents will sing the national
 anthem of Greece and Australia and some VIPs will be present.
