Mother’s Day 2024

Another successful function by Thessaloniki Association “The White Tower”, the Mother’s Day event which occurred on Sunday 26th May 2024.

The function included a luncheon at the Association’s venue, 439 High Street, Northcote, Vic 3070. All member mothers of the Association were invited to take part free of charge. For those men who accompanied their wives the cost was $40.

Everyone enjoyed themselves, had a wonderful lunch with any drinks included. The youngest and oldest mother of the function was awarded a wonderful pot of flowers, and were thanked for their unequivocal and never ending contribution to their respective families.

We were also honoured by the presence of our Consul General to Melbourne, Mr Emmanuel Kakavelakis, who attended with his own mother and his two beautiful children.

At this point, we would also like to mentioned that a new Thessalonian by the name of Antonis has the restaurant at 439 High Street now. He is serving beautiful food, and has a great voice to 0416 558 177. The restaurant is called “ODOS TSIMISKI”. Make a point of going to listen to what this man and his team from Thessaloniki has to offer.
